Scheduling Coordinator

PhysicianOne Urgent Care is seeking a Scheduling Coordinator to accurately staff and schedule Providers and Clinical Staff for our Urgent Care centers operating in CT, NY, and MA.

This person will report to the Regional Operations Director and will work very closely with Medical Director, Site Coordinators and all Providers within the organization.

Primary responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Fulfill staffing operations for Providers and Clinical Staff across the board
  • Managed scheduled and unscheduled daily staff requests and fill them efficiently
  • Uphold accurate system for tracking staff over a variety of shifts and providing reporting to Regional Operations Director and Medical Director on labor variances
  • Coordinate staffing requirements with Regional Operations Director and Talent Acquisition Manager to meet business requirements
  • Process employee vacation requests; Monitor overtime accumulation and attendance of employees
  • Assist the Regional Director of Operations and Human Resources Director with interviews and orientations
  • Track and document all training sessions
  • Maintain schedules for Per Diem and Part Time staff.
  • Secure coverage for vacancy shifts
  • Work with the Payroll Coordinator to verify payroll accuracy on a bi-weekly basis

Experience for this position includes at least a year of previous staffing experience using electronic timekeeping systems.  Experience with Tangier preferred but must have experience with a scheduling solution.

  • Proactive problem solving and negotiation skills
  • Ability to work with tight deadlines and provide advance notice on upcoming scheduling requirements
